1.1 Acceptance & Eligibility
These Terms govern your access to and use of lytingjewellery.com (the “Website”) and all purchases from Lyting Jewelleries Sdn Bhd. Accessing the Website or placing an order constitutes binding acceptance of these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old or operating with legal parental/guardian consent.
1.2 Use of Website & Intellectual Property
- Permitted Use: You agree to use the Website for lawful purposes only. Scraping, unauthorized system access, or commercial exploitation of content is strictly prohibited.
- IP Rights: All text, graphics, logos, marks, and product designs remain the exclusive intellectual property of Lyting, protected under common law and Malaysian intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act 1987.
1.3 Orders, Gold Pricing & Errors
- Contract Formation: An order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only upon our written dispatch/collection confirmation.
- Gold Volatility & Craftsmanship: Gold prices fluctuate daily; displayed prices are indicative until order confirmation. Minor variations in weight, dimensions, or settings are inherent to handcrafted gold jewellery and do not constitute defects.
- Error Reservation: We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or modify any order before or after confirmation due to pricing feed glitches, stock unavailability, or technical errors, with liability strictly limited to a refund of monies paid.
1.4 Payment & SST
All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include applicable Sales and Service Tax (SST). Full payment is required at checkout or reservation.
1.5 Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
- Liability: To the maximum extent permitted under Malaysian law (subject to the Consumer Protection Act 1999), Lyting excludes all indirect, special, or consequential damages.
- Jurisdiction: Governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts (specifically Johor), without limiting Lyting’s right to enforce proceedings against you in any other jurisdiction.
PRIVACY NOTICE (PDPA 2010)
2.1 Collection & Purpose
Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), Lyting processes your personal data (name, contact details, transaction history, technical browsing data, and NRIC/Passport details for high-value/anti-money laundering compliance) to:
- Fulfill orders, process trade-ins, and deliver customer service;
- Comply with statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations; and
- Send direct marketing (where explicitly consented to; opt-out available anytime).
2.2 Disclosure & Security
We do not sell your data. Data may be shared on a confidential basis with our authorized staff, third-party service providers (payment/logistics), or regulatory bodies when required by law. We apply technical and organizational safeguards in compliance with PDPA Security Standards.

RETURN, TRADE-IN & REPAIR POLICY
3.1 Gold Purity Guarantee
All gold jewellery is hallmarked and guaranteed according to stated purity (e.g., 916/22K, 999/24K) in compliance with Malaysian gold trading standards.
3.2 Final Sale Policy
Due to daily gold market price fluctuations, all sales are final, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
3.3 Gold Trade-Ins
Trade-ins are appraised in-store based on purity, net weight, and prevailing buy-back prices, less deductions for embedded stones and wastage. Valuations are final once agreed and signed by the Customer. Proof of lawful ownership/NRIC verification is required.
3.4 Repairs & Servicing
Items left for repair or resizing are handled with reasonable care. Customer claim receipts are strictly required upon collection. Lyting is not liable for loss or damage arising from events beyond reasonable control, save for direct negligence.
